Since its foundation in 1978 Quirke's Security has established a deserved reputation as one of Munster and Ireland’s best, most professional and most efficient commercial and domestic security providers. Initially established by the Quirke family the business was taken over by Oliver Molloy, a long time employee of the firm with over 20 years experience in the security industry, in 2006. 

Since then Quirke security have gone from strength to strength expanding their business far beyond Kerry’s borders and earning a reputation for excellence and professionalism. Of the many developments in Quirke Security’s long and successful history one of the most significant is the Tralee firm’s recent acquisition of Killarney’s O’Loughlin Security. O’Loughlin Security are one of Killarney’s most successful firms with a wealth of experience earned from years of experience protecting homes and some of the south Kerry town’s most prominent and well known business and commercial sites. 

 Quirke Security Ltd. has in the past and will in the future continue to expand and always welcomes any opportunity to generate new business. We endeavour to maintain a strong relationship of mutual trust and confidence between ourselves and our customers. Our commitment to our clients ensures a service that includes reliable and trained staff who are dedicated to their profession. At Quirke Security we offer a complete range of security services from security and fire alarm installation and monitoring to key holding and security patrolling, provide security services for some of Ireland’s largest and most prominent companies. Many state agencies have also entrusted their security to Quirke’s and their expert staff. 

 Quirke Security has a core team of 15 staff led by Oliver Molloy, Installation Manager Adam Nowek and Office and Accounts Manager Anne Myers, provides services across Ireland with clients as far afield as Sligo, Roscommon and Kilkenny, protecting the interests of leading companies and guarding several major commercial sites. These wide ranging and geographically spread operations are managed by the Quirke’s team from their offices at Tralee’s Monavalley Industrial Estate, a facility they moved to one and half years ago from the company’s original home at Greenview Terrace in the town.

Calibre of our Staff

We employ our own direct staff on a 24 hour basis to operate both our installation and after hour callout services. Our team comprises of fully qualified engineers and security personnel. All of our personnel have been vetted by the Gardai prior to their employment and as a rule we do not employ the services of sub-contrators.
